Meter groups

A meter group is a user-defined collection of meters. Meter groups allow users to filter energy data for reporting, analysis, or comparison.

Unlike meter categories, which are limited to one per meter, meters can belong to multiple groups. This makes meter groups more flexible for organizing meters by various attributes.

Here are examples of meter groups:

• All meters on a specific production line
• Meters monitoring compressed air usage
• Meters related to a sustainability initiative
