Storage strategy

A storage strategy controls if and how inventory packs can be moved into a storage location, based on factors like the dimensions of the location and the inventory packs.

The storage strategy options are available in Infor MES:

• None: No special behavior defined or required. Essentially no limit to how many inventory packs can be moved here
• Stacked: One-dimensional stacking, one on top of the other
• Side-by-side: Two-dimensional stacking, width-ways in a single row, assuming only one inventory pack can be placed depth wise
