Non-stocked inventory

Non-stocked inventory is inventory that is deliberately not held in stock, but when required is ordered from the supplier from time-to-time. After it is received, it becomes in stock and available to use.

Inventory which is non-stocked is not managed using reorder points, but are manually ordered, or managed as part of the ERP MRP cycle.
