Inventory usage

You can enable inventory consumption by loading the inventory pack onto a machine.

Any output material created whilst the inventory pack is loaded has traceability back to the consumed pack. Typically, the pack remains on the machine until it is all consumed, but it can be returned.

After the production run changes, you can either unload the material when the job ends or carry the inventory over to be consumed on the next job, provided it is a valid material in the BOM.

Without additional configuration, it is only possible to consume one material of each material type at a time.

Scanning another inventory pack of the same material type automatically closes the current pack being consumed for that material type.

If multiple materials of the same material type need to be consumed at the same time, then inventory positions must be configured to enable this.
