Workflow
The Workflow module in Infor MES provides a low code environment
where you can create your own structured set of actions to make a product.
Workflow fulfils the need for strict operator guidance in highly regulated environments and provides flexibility in how a manufacturing process can be modelled to a high level of specificity.
The workflow is defined as a structured hierarchy of configured, reusable, and tested objects named routings, operations, phases, and actions.
These are the key features and benefits of the Workflow functionality of MES:
Key features
- Low code process control enables update and revision of the modelled process in MES, freely and as often as required.
- Easily connec to OPC and external APIs to enable branching in your process, based on parameters, in real time
- Intuitive drag and drop interface puts you in control of the workflow configuration
- Extensive library of transactions to be implemented
Benefits
- Process control
-
- Guide the operator step by step
- Reduce human error by being prescriptive
- Efficient onboarding of new employees
- Traceability
-
- Full, granular audit of real-time processes.
- Each step fed into the eBR, along with who carried it out
- Parameters are captured as they were at the time
- The duration each action took is captured, enabling process lags to be systematically identified
- Signatures can provide further traceability of each action
