New M3WM function Package Update (PKUPD) for updating delivery package data.

Background:

There is a need to be able to update weight, volume, and a number of other fields on a delivery package as a separate step in the pick and pack process.

Solution:

New M3WM function Package Update (PKUPD) for updating delivery package data. The function can be opened from the M3WM menu or from the packing functions detail screen (xxPA).

Fields that can be updated: weight, volume, free unit, length, width, height, remark, goods mark, external tracking no, included in, and packaging.

New package label can be printed manually or automatically.

Process:

1. Scan delivery package or SSCC to find package. Detail screen is displayed.

2. Enter or scan new data.

3. Press Next to update package data.

4. The printer settings screen is displayed if a new label is to be printed. If needed, scan new printer and set number of copies. Press Next to print.

Limitations:

• Package number must be unique.

• No support for creating the "Included in" package. Package must already exist on the delivery to be able to pack into it.
