Alternate unit of measure support in multiple delivery Pick and Pack (AUTOPALST).

Background:

Alternate unit of measure support already exists when using the Advanced Pick Detail (APD) screen for picking and packing modules. There is a need to extend support when APD is launched through the AUTOPALST module.

Solution:

New parameters are added in Auto Pack List scope that activate the use and display of alternate unit of measure. The APD screen behaves according to the profile ID set in the other new parameters of AUTOPALST.

New parameters:

• A. Auto Pack List/ID n: Enable the display and use of alternate unit of measure

• B. Auto Pack List/ID n: Set XOPackingAPD profile ID to use to control the Advance Pick Detail screen

• C. Auto Pack List/ID n: Set ReplenishmentPickingAPD profile ID to use to control the Advance Pick Detail screen

Process example:

1. Activate new parameter A.

2. Use COPackingAPD scope, for example, and choose a profile that has alternate unit configuration. Set the selected profile ID in new parameter B.

3. From the initial screen, select CO order type, warehouse and stock zone of items with alternate unit settings, then press NEXT until APD screen is displayed.

4. Notice that quantity is expressed in alternate units. Perform standard packing transaction.
