Competing Forecasts

Use competing forecasts when you are not certain of what forecast method to use. This will give you a possibility to use one out of a number of forecast methods. You enter the competing forecasts on 'Forecast Competition Method. Open' (FCS301/B).

The system will pick the one with lowest error last period for forecast method current period. The selection of competing methods and their errors can be printed by using 'Forecast Competition. Print' (FCS105).
