Release of a quotation

The release of a quotation affects several processes after the order is won. A released quotation is not only used to create a sales order, but also, based on its content, to create work order requests, maintenance customer orders, and equipment.

Although you can release a quotation with the status Accepted (50), users for which the Quick entry allowed field is selected in 'Settings - Quotation Permissions' (QUS155) can also release a quotation with the status 'In progress' (10).
