Promotion records

This section describes how to configure basic information for promotion records to be used with quotations.

Using promotions, sometimes called campaigns, you can provide a discount to the equipment, that is, the product, on a quotation. You can define several promotions for a quotation.

Two types of promotions exist, claimable promotions and non-claimable promotions. Claimable promotions are refunded by an internal or external payer. When the quotation is released, if the promotion is claimable, then a one-time supplier rebate is created.
