Managing Returns for Internal Rental

Return of an internal rental agreement is performed using 'Rental Logistics Toolbox. Open' (STS140) and follows the same process of managing returns as for external rental.

You can set up and use a sorting order to identify internal deliveries in (STS140). Use 'Line type' (LTYP) to identify the internal deliveries.

The return distribution order (DO) connected to the internal rental agreement line moves the equipment from the rental division back to the owning division. The from and to warehouse on the DO is therefore:

• From warehouse=rental division's yard warehouse
• To warehouse=owning division's yard warehouse

To report the return of the internal rental agreement, the equipment must be placed on an allocatable location on the rental division's yard warehouse.
