Project Information
Project Information is an Experience Designer application and one of several applications that replace the Project Portal mashup.
You can use the application to find a project, review historical information versions, update project details, and access related M3 applications for additional actions, all within a single, integrated interface. This design streamlines project data management and enhances user productivity within the M3 Business Engine environment.
The primary purpose of the Project Information application is to provide users with a centralized interface for managing project information.
The application enables users to:
- View, add, update, and delete project information records.
- Access different versions of project information for each project.
- Manage connected information blocks and values for each project version.
- Navigate to related applications or M3 Business Engine programs through links and bookmarks.
M3 Business Engine Configuration
M3 Project Management is required to run the Project Information application.

Application authorization
To access and run the Experience Designer application, you must be authorized to the M3 Business Engine functions and API transactions used by the application.

How to use the application
You can use the application as a standalone option by searching for a project and selecting a project in the index list, or you can open the application from another application.
When you open the application from another application, the selected project number in the first application is set as the default in the IndexList in the Project Information application.
The DataGrid lists existing versions for the selected project in the IndexList. You can add, update, and delete records in the application.
You can access actions that are not available in the application through a connected link.
