Time Reporting

Time Reporting is an Experience Designer application that is used as a standalone application to report and manage time accounting and work-order-related time transactions. This application is also used in combination with the project order applications.

User stories

Employees can report time and expenses for projects and work orders from a single location. Managers can approve and authorize time and expense reports from a single location.

M3 Business Engine configuration

These M3 Business Engine configurations are required to run the Time Reporting application:

  • M3 Time Accounting for project order
  • M3 Maintenance Management for work order time transactions

Application authorization

To access and run the Experience Designer application, you must be authorized to the M3 Business Engine functions and API transactions used by the application.

Limitations

When Time Reporting is opened from another project order application, the project order number is not specified by default.

How to use the application

The application opens with the user's ID as the default value to list transactions. When you select a transaction, you can update the transaction in the form on the right. The form is divided into two sections, Time Accounting and Work Order, depending on the transaction.
