Project Overview
Project Overview is an Experience Designer application and one of several applications that replace the Project Portal mashup.
A project manager can open the Project Overview application, search for a project, and immediately view a summary of KPIs, financial status, outstanding invoices, and related orders. If more detail is needed, a project manager can drill down into specific components or use the provided links to open related M3 programs.
- Comprehensive project visibility: You can search for and select projects, view key performance indicators (KPIs), financial information, forecasts, invoices, customer orders, work orders, purchase orders, and rental agreements in one place.
- Actionable insights: Components such as Spotlight display KPIs and project results, while DataGrids and Forms present detailed lists and financial summaries, enabling informed decision-making.
M3 Business Engine configuration
M3 Project Management is required to run the Project Overview application.

Application authorization
To access and run the Experience Designer application, you must be authorized to the M3 Business Engine functions and API transactions used by the application.

How to use the application
You can use the application as a standalone option by searching for a project and selecting a project in the index list, or you can open the application from another application.
When you open the application from another application, the selected project number in the first application is set as the default in the IndexList in the Project Overview application.
Most grids in the application read data when a project is selected from the IndexList.
