Manage Project
Manage Project is an Experience Designer application designed to replace the legacy Project Portal mashup. This application is part of a suite of applications that streamline project management within the M3 Business Engine environment.
The primary purpose of the Manage Project application is to provide users with a centralized interface for managing project-related data and actions.
The application enables users to:
- Select projects and view project-related data.
- Add, update, copy, and delete records across project components, such as budgets, forecasts, materials, and orders.
M3 Business Engine Configuration
M3 Project Management is required to run the Manage Project application.
See the Components section for details regarding specific configuration for each component.
Application authorization
To access and run the Experience Designer application, you must be authorized to the M3 Business Engine functions and API transactions used by the application.

Limitations
The functionality for Revenue Recognition is not included in this version of the application.
How to use the application
You can use the application as a standalone option by searching for a project and selecting a project in the index list, or you can open the application from another application.
When you open the application from another application, the selected project number in the first application is set as the default in the IndexList in the Manage Project application.
All tabs in the application display data for the selected project in the IndexList. You can add, update, copy, and delete records in the different tabs.
