Project Scheduling
Project Scheduling is an Experience Designer application and one of several applications that replace the Project Portal mashup.
A project user can use the application to search for a specific project, review all scheduling versions, add a new schedule version, update existing lines, and analyze connections between project tasks, all within a single, integrated interface.
The primary purpose of the Project Scheduling application is to streamline and centralize the scheduling aspects of project management within the M3 Business Engine.
The application enables users to:
- View, add, and update scheduling versions for selected projects.
- Manage and update individual scheduled lines and their connections.
- Access related applications and programs through integrated links and bookmarks.
M3 Business Engine configuration
M3 Project Management is required to run the Project Scheduling application.
See the Components section for details regarding specific configuration for each component.
Application authorization
To access and run the Experience Designer application, you must be authorized to the M3 Business Engine functions and API transactions used by the application.

Limitations
'Project Element. Create Connections' (POS212) is only listed. Any additional connections or updates are required to be performed in the program. A link to 'Project Element. Schedule (POS211)' is available to provide easier access and to manage connections.
How to use the application
You can use the application as a standalone option by searching for a project and selecting a project in the index list, or you can open the application from another application.
The DataGrid lists scheduling versions for the selected project in the IndexList. You can add and update records in the application.
