EQM Product Support Details
EQM Product Support Details is an Experience Designer application that manages the content of an aftermarket quote that is generated by the EQM Product Support application.
You can access this application from multiple locations within the EQM Product Support application.
The application contains several subtabs in which you can view and manage each transaction type for the selected quotation. You can add and edit records based on the quotation status. Each subtab operates similarly.
M3 Business Engine Configuration
These M3 Business Engine configurations are required to run the EQM Product Support Details application:
- M3 Equipment Quotation Management
- M3 Work Order Management
- Function search activated for tables MILOIN, MILOMA, MILOSW, MITMAS, MITBAL, QUHEAD, QULINE, and BPROJS

Application authorization
To access and run the Experience Designer application, you must be authorized to the M3 Business Engine functions and API transactions used by the application.

Limitations
The application is only applicable for equipment aftermarket quotations that are created in the M3 Equipment Quotation Management module.
On the Service tab under the Search & Create tab, all predefined services are shown. You can quote non-configuration services for which the 'Config service' value is 0.
On the Warranty tab under the Search & Create tab, all predefined warranty classes, including standard and extended warranty classes, are shown. You can quote extended warranty classes.
How to use the application
The EQM Product Support Details application focuses on managing detailed quotation information at the line level.
When you open the application from the EQM Product Support application, the application runs as a modal application. The quotation number, quote version, work order number, and work order operation have default values.
The EQM Product Support Details application contains two main tabs:
- Lines
- Search & Create
Lines
On the Lines tab, you can access these data sections:
- The Details form provides information about the quote header, including price information that is updated automatically when you make changes to the quote. In this section, you can adjust the sales price or margin of the entire quote, change the quote status, or convert the quote to an order.
- The Lines grid shows all quotation lines. You can adjust the sales price or cost price of a line, delete a line, or add an item line. To add other line types, use the Search & Create tab.
Search & Create
On the Search & Create tab, you can manage aftermarket quote line types by searching and selecting records from various lists that are organized by line type.
The Details form displays the same quote header information as the Lines tab, including price information that is updated automatically when you make changes to the quote.
The Search & Create tab contains these additional tabs:
- Equipment
On the Equipment tab, you can search for an item and serial number combination to quote against. The list is filtered automatically based on the customer that is defined on the quote header. This filtering prevents quotes from being created for equipment that belongs to different customers.
For a selected equipment record, you can view additional information on the subsequent tabs. This information includes meters, warranty, maintenance agreements, location, selected attributes, and the as-built structure.
The selected item and serial number combination remains available on the other tabs when you add a quote line. The selected item and serial number combination is used as input for line creation.
- Parts
On the Parts tab, you can search for items to quote by using various search criteria.
For a selected item, you can view additional information on the subsequent tabs. This information includes basic details, measurements, weight and volume, core information, item and warehouse information, item relations, and item text.
When you click the button, a line is added through a form and becomes visible on the Lines tab after a refresh. If the item is quoted against equipment, the equipment details are shown above the Lines tab. On the Lines tab, you can change the item quote line, delete the item quote line, or convert the quote to an order.
If you select a work order and operation to quote for, or if you select a project to quote for, this information is shown in the form. Converted aftermarket quotes that are created against a work order do not result in a sales order. The converted aftermarket quotes update the work order material list.
For each selected item line, you can manage promotions and miscellaneous costs on the dedicated tab. When you add a promotion or miscellaneous cost, the item number has a default value that matches the item number of the quoted line. To add a generic promotion or miscellaneous cost, clear the item number value manually.
- Service
On the Service tab, you can search for services to quote by using various search criteria.
You can select a service from the predefined services or from the full service catalog in 'Service. Open' (MOS300). When you select a service from the full service catalog, the service is added temporarily to 'Quotation. Add Services' (QUS114). The service is then removed after it is added to the quote.
When you click the button, a line is added through a form and becomes visible on the Lines tab after a refresh.
You can quote services only when the 'Config Service' value is 0-'No'. On the Lines tab, you can change the service quote line, delete the service quote line, or convert the quote to an order.
If you select a project to quote for, this information is shown as additional information.
- Maintenance Agreement
On the Maintenance Agreement tab, you can search for predefined maintenance agreements to quote by using various search criteria.
When you click the button, a line is added through a form and becomes visible on the Lines tab after a refresh. On the Lines tab, you can change the maintenance agreement quote line, delete the maintenance agreement quote line, or convert the quote to an order.
If you select a project to quote for, this information is shown as additional information.
- Warranty
On the Warranty tab, you can search for predefined warranty types to quote by using various search criteria. You can quote only warranty classes that use the Extended Warranty class.
When you click the button, a line is added through a form and becomes visible on the Lines tab after a refresh. On the Lines tab, you can change the warranty quote line, delete the warranty quote line, or convert the quote to an order.
If you select a project to quote for, this information is shown as additional information.
