EQM Product Support
EQM Product Support is an Experience Designer application that serves as the primary workspace for the product support sales representative (PSSR).
When you create a quotation in the EQM Product Support application, the quotation category is set to 1-'Aftermarket quotation'. The EQM Product Support application shows quotations with this category.
You can use the panels and tabs in the application to manage the quotation process from creation to release. You can also manage post-release, follow-up inquiries.
M3 Business Engine Configuration
These M3 Business Engine configurations are required to run the EQM Product Support application:
- M3 Equipment Quotation Management
- Custom lists M3_LIST_CCUCRL, M3_LIST_OCUSMA, and M3_LIST_ACUORH
- Function search activated for tables FSLEGD, MILOSW, MILOIN, MILOMA, QUHEAD, and OCUSMA

Application authorization
To access and run the Experience Designer application, you must be authorized to the M3 Business Engine functions and API transactions used by the application.

Limitations
The application is only applicable for equipment aftermarket quotations created in the M3 Equipment Quotation Management module.
How to use the application
The EQM Product Support application is the main starting point for managing existing aftermarket quotations and creating new aftermarket quotations.
The application focuses on managing quotation header information. The EQM Product Support Details application is a separate application for managing quotation details at the line level. You can access the EQM Product Support Details application from multiple locations within the EQM Product Support application where the button is available.
The EQM Product Support application contains six tabs. This section provides a brief overview of each tab:
- Dashboard
- My Quotations
- New Quotations
- Related Quotations
- Grouped Quotations
- All Quotations
Dashboard
On the Dashboard tab, you can view these charts:
- Quotation by Status: This chart shows the count of all aftermarket quotes grouped by status. The chart also shows the percentage coverage of quotes for which the quote status is between 10 and 80.
- Quotation by Customer: This chart shows the count of all aftermarket quotes by customer ID for which the quote status is between 10 and 80.
- Total Value per Customer: This chart shows the total sales value of aftermarket quotes grouped by customer ID for which the quote status is between 10 and 80.
My Quotations
On the My Quotations tab, you can perform these actions:
- View your open aftermarket quotations with a quote status 10 to 50 on the Search subtab.
- View the lines and header charges for a selected quotation.
- Access the EQM Product Support Details application. You can change, delete, print, copy, adjust the total quote price, change the quote status, or convert the quote to a sales order by clicking the corresponding buttons.
- Quote for an existing work order. To quote for an existing work order, select the quote number on the Search tab. On the Work Schedule tab, select the work order and operation, and then click button. The selected work order number and operation number are transferred to the EQM Product Support Details application. The application reads these values when parts are added to the quote.
- View quotes that are converted to sales orders on the Fulfillment tab. This tab shows an overview of each line and sourcing order, such as the customer order relation or a work order.
- Access the actual order for a customer order relation. Open 'Customer Order. Open Toolbox' (OIS300) by clicking the button.
- Compare the sales and cost estimates from the quotation with the actual invoice output on the Deal Review tab.
New Quotations
On the New Quotations tab, you can perform these actions:
- Search for and select a customer on the New Quotations tab to create a new quotation.
- View additional information for a selected customer on the available subtabs. You can also add, display, edit, copy, and delete a customer record.
- Search for and select equipment on the Equipment tab to create a maintenance customer order (MCO) in 'Maint CO. Quick Entry' (COS130).
- Select the equipment in the EQM Product Support Details application when quoting for parts, services, maintenance agreements, or warranties, as equipment selections can differ for each quoted line.
- View information for a selected equipment, including meters, warranty, maintenance agreements, location, selected attributes, and the as-built structure.
Related Quotations
On the Related Quotations tab, you can manage quotation relationships by adding, changing, and deleting relation groups. You can also connect quotations to a group and disconnect quotations from a group.
Grouped Quotations
On the Grouped Quotations tab, you can manage quotation groupings by adding, changing, and deleting groups. You can also connect quotations to a group and disconnect quotations from a group.
All Quotations
On the All Quotations tab, you can perform these actions:
- View all open aftermarket quotations with a quote status of 10 to 50 on the Search subtab.
- View the lines and header charges for a selected quotation.
- Access the EQM Product Support Details application. You can change, delete, print, copy, adjust the total quote price, change the quote status, or convert a quotation to a sales order by clicking the corresponding buttons.
