Accessing standard applications

The standard applications delivered by Infor are delivered to all the test environments of the customers by default and are displayed in the M3 menu, under the menu point EDA – Experience Designer Applications. If you cannot run them, or cannot see them in the menu, verify in 'Function. Open' (MNS110) that the menu EDA exist and that the Experience Designer Applications are listed in (MNS110) and connected to the menu EDA in 'Menu. Open' (MNS111). The standard EDA applications start with M3 in (MNS110):

  • M3COHUB: Customer Order Hub
  • M3CREDCTRL: Credit Control
  • M3CUCROV: Customer Credit Overview

If the Experience Designer Applications in (MNS110) has the setting 'Authority Required' enabled on the (MNS110/E) panel, only the users that are granted access to use those applications can run and see them in the menu.

To grant access, you must add records in 'Function. Connect Authorization per Role' (SES400) for those applications, and you must connect users to those roles in 'Roles per User. Connect' (MNS410). You can verify permissions in 'Authorization by User. Display' (SES401) per user and application. To grant users to see and run the applications without any authorization restrictions, disable the setting 'Authority Required' on the (MNS110/E) panel for each of the applications.

To move the applications to production, these are the steps:
Note: This requires M3UI designer or administrator roles.
  • Open the application from the menu, click the three dots in the upper right corner, and copy the application to your own version.
  • Adjust the application or make no changes. You can export or import the application through the Experience Designer dashboards when moving them to another tenant, or you can use Configuration management (ACM). To use ACM, you must set the application to Published status.
  • If the application contains links to other standard applications, those links need to be updated with the correct application short names before importing to production.
