Sales Tickets
A sales ticket represents all transaction types created in a point of sale (POS) system. A sales ticket represents a cash receipt, a credit sale to be invoiced in M3, a cash withdrawal, a bank remittance, or a POS system login, for example.
Sales tickets are used to integrate an external POS system with M3. Sales ticket information is uploaded from the POS system to M3 and is used to update sales statistics, general ledger, and stock.
Sales tickets information is uploaded automatically to M3 through the 'POS Sales Tickets interface' (OPS270MI). You can upload sales tickets in batches through 'POS Sales Ticket. Transfer' (OPS270), through the SlsTicketTrf API transaction in (OPS270MI), or individually through 'POS Sales Ticket. Open' (OPS275).
The M3 general ledger, sales statistics, and stock are updated with sales ticket information through (OPS270MI) using the BchPrcRound API transaction, through 'POS Sales Ticket Update interface' (OPS280MI) using the SlsTicketUpdate API transaction, or manually in 'POS Sales Ticket. Update' (OPS280).
