Update Forecast Comparison

The purpose of this procedure is to save sets of forecasts for specified items for later review and evaluation.

Before you start

To start this procedure the following prerequisites must be met:

  • Forecast IDs for forecast comparisons are entered in ‘Comparing Forecast. Open’ (FCS440).
  • Forecasts are created and saved. These can be created from automatic calculations or any of the manual forecasting methods.

Follow these steps

Follow the steps below to update forecast comparisons.

  1. Select ‘Comparing Forecast. Update’ (FCS450), panel E.

  2. Specify the items for which forecasts will be saved.

  3. Specify the period range within which the forecasts will be saved.

  4. To end, press Enter.
