Resource Reqmnt Profile. Create (RCS300)
This component is used to create resource requirements profiles in batches. These are necessary to calculate rough-cut capacity. Creating resource requirements profiles in batch is much faster than when done manually.
The batch profiles are always sorted by product number, not by group technology. Only resource type 4 work centers may be present in the profiles created in 'Resource Reqmnt Profile. Create' (RCS300).
'Resource Reqmnt Profile. Create' (RCS300) does not delete existing profiles. Instead, existing profiles can be updated or new ones created.
Before you start
To batch create resource profiles, products and resource type 4 work centers must be entered.
Description
The panels are used to:
- Panel E: Select product group, item group, etc. to limit the run.
- Panel F: Specify whether all the profiles of the selected products are re-created or only new products are included. You can also specify whether to re-create profiles on the highest level of the product structure only or also on lower levels.
