Create Distribution Curve

Before you start

To start this procedure, the parameter for number of periods must be entered in 'Company. Connect Division' (MNS100/F).

Follow these steps

Follow the steps below to create a distribution curve.

1. Select 'Distribution Curve. Open' (FCS310), panel B.

2. To create a curve by copying, go to step 3. Otherwise continue from step 4.

3. Select the distribution curve to be copied from. In panel C, enter the ID for the distribution curve to be copied to. Go to step 5.

4. Enter a numeric ID for the distribution curve and an appropriate name and short description. These should be relevant and easy to remember.

5. In panel E, enter the percentage share for the appropriate number of periods.

6. Make sure the amount in field Total percentage is correct after all period shares are entered. The total must be 100% before the distribution curve can be completed. If this is not so, the percentage shares can be changed as required.

7. To end, press Enter.
