Display Forecast
The purpose of this procedure is to display previous forecasts graphically to review their accuracy in relation to actual demand. This procedure can also be used to present forecast calculations for future periods or manually entered forecasts.
Before you start
To start this procedure, the following prerequisites must be met:
- The Forecast Method for the item/warehouse is entered in 'Item. Connect Warehouse' (MMS002).
- The forecast calculation is completed as described in procedure Create Automatic Forecast.

Forecasts are created manually, if the forecast calculation is not completed. For more information, see the following procedures:

- Demand history statistics are created and saved using a Demand Type defined for the forecast method in use in 'Forecast Method. Open' (FCS300).The number of periods forward and backwards is regulated by parameters No. of forecast periods in history and No. of forecast periods in statistics. These are entered for each forecast method and are updated in program ‘Forecast Method. Open’ (FCS300).
Follow these steps
To display a forecast and demand history:

Select 'Manual Forecast. Display' (FCS040), panel P.

Select the colors for the graphic diagram of forecasts or demand.

In panel B, enter item number, warehouse and start period for the forecasts and the demand values.

Forecasts and demand values for more periods can be obtained using scroll keys.

Use F8 = Scroll forward and F7 = Scroll backward to obtain more items.
