Base Forecast
A base forecast is the forecast calculated from base demand. This does not include seasonal factors or period length variations (varying number of workdays) which affect demand.
Description
A base forecast is used a first step in automatic forecast calculation. The final forecasts are based on the base forecast adjusted for seasonal and period length variations.
