Update Rental Price List in (STS018)

Use this document to update different types of price lists in 'Rental Price List. Update' (STS018).

Setup

  • Specify a sales price list with items in 'Rental Price List. Open' (STS017).

  • To create or update stepped pricing, specify the item in 'Rental Rates. Enter Stepped Price' (STS123).

  • To create or update meter pricing, specify the item in 'Rental Rates. Enter Meter Price' (STS124).

  • To create or update a rental package, specify the package in 'Rental Rates. Enter Package Price' (STS125).

Follow these steps to update price lists:

  1. Open 'Rental Price List. Open' (STS017).
  2. Select a price list and select related option 16='Upd price list'. (STS018) is started.

  3. Specify the percentage to use to increase or decrease the price rates.

  4. Specify the function to use in the 'Function selection' field:
    • 1-'Upd price list' to update the price list with new rates
    • 2-'Create new price' to create a price list based on the selected price list
  5. If 2-'Create new price' is selected, specify dates in the 'Valid from' and 'Valid to' fields.

  6. To select items, specify the range in the 'From' and 'To' fields. The permitted range for selections is displayed to the left in the panel. The information is retrieved from the price list.

  7. If 2-'Create new price' is selected, only the selected items are copied to the new price list.
  8. Under Rental Rates and Rental Package, select the check box to specify which rates are to be updated.
  9. Press Enter to start the update.
Note: The prices in 'Serv Price List. Enter Rental Rates' (STS120) and (STS123) are rounded off with no decimals after running (STS018) if 'Price dec round' (PDRO) is set to 1-'No price decimals on price list' or 2-'No price decimals on agreement price' in (STS017).
