Managing Internal Rental Delivery Address Information

The final delivery address on the purchase order (PO) header and line is assigned as the delivery address on the internal rental agreement line.

If no corresponding address exists in 'Customer. Connect Addresses' (OIS002) for the internal rental agreement customer, a new address ID is created with a number starting with # followed by the next available number in the sequence.

The correct address is found in this way:

1. A verification is made to see if the final destination is set on the PO line.

   If it is, the final destination address information is compared with existing addresses of the customer in (OIS002), address type 2.

   If a corresponding address is found in (OIS002) this is set on the internal rental agreement line.

   If no corresponding address is found in (OIS002), a new address ID is created with the address information from the final destination.

2. If no final destination is set on the PO line, then a verification is made to see if an address exists in 'Internal Addresses. Open' (CRS235) for the receiving warehouse.

   If there is, the warehouse address information is compared with existing addresses of the customer in (OIS002), address type 2.

   If a corresponding address is found in (OIS002) this is set on the internal rental agreement line.

   If no corresponding address is found in (OIS002), a new address ID is created with the address information from the warehouse.

3. If neither final destination nor warehouse verifications result in finding any address, the address of the customer in 'Customer. Open' (CRS610) is used.

   The customer address information is then compared with existing addresses of the customer in (OIS002), address type 2.

   If a corresponding address is found in (OIS002) this is set on the internal rental agreement line.

   If no corresponding address is found in (OIS002), a new address ID is created with the address information from (CRS610).
