Project Number

This identifies a project. The number can be entered manually at the same time as the project is entered, or generated from the number series specified in the project order type. A set prefix for the sequence number can be specified when generating the project number. However, the total number of characters cannot exceed seven.

If the specified prefix is PR and there are three numerals in the sequence number, the projects in a series will be assigned project numbers PR001, PR002, PR003, etc.
