Connect Option to Feature

The purpose of this procedure is to connect options to each feature. These options will be valid when a product is configured. See Configure Product.

Before you start

Before you can begin to connect an option to a feature, the following prerequisites must be met:

  • Options are entered in 'Option. Open' (PDS050).
  • Features are entered in 'Feature. Open' (PDS055).

Follow these steps

Follow the steps below to connect an option to a feature.

  1. Start 'Feature. Connect Options' (PDS056).

  2. Enter the feature to which the option should be connected.

  3. Enter the options to be connected to the feature.

  4. Mark a line and select option 'Create/Select' (option 1) to create the connection. If the sequence number is not filled in, it is entered automatically according to the interval specified using F13=Parameters.

Output

Valid options can be connected to each feature in advance when using this procedure.
