Drawing Measurement

A drawing measurement is a type of product configuration element used when products are configured.

A drawing measurement can be numeric or alphanumeric. It may be compared to a product parameter, which is used to specify a product.

Drawing measurements are connected to a product structure header. This means that they can have different values and be of different significance in different product structures. They can also be of a global type, meaning that it can carry information across the product structure. A measurement will then be of the same significance and value throughout the product structure.
