LI Specification Type

An LI specification type identifies the event to which an LI specification is to apply.

An LI specification type can differentiate four events as follows:

• Inspection of a lot which has been purchased or manufactured.
• Repeat testing a previously approved lot.
• Reclassifying an out of-stock-lot.
• Inspection of a production process.
