Print Manufacturing Order Documents

This document explains how to print the documents you need to start working on an operation.

Outcome

  • If you start 'Manufact Order. Print Separate Documents' (PMS250) from 'Work Center Schedule. Open' (PMS230) by selecting alternative 6-'Print document,' you will proceed from the work center. Documents related to the operations are predefined. Select 'New.'
  • If you start 'Manufact Order. Open' (PMS100) by selecting alternative 6-'Print,' you will proceed from the MO number. All documents are selected. You may specify the desired number of copies you want to print of these documents:
    • Put-away card
    • Labor card
    • Routing card
    • Material requisition
    • Shop traveler card
    • Design document.

These are the uses for the documents:

  • The put-away card shows where the end product will be stored.
  • The labor card shows planned times and/or piece rate for the operation.
  • The routing card shows in which order the operations will be performed, including work center, tools, setup time and run time for each operation.
  • Material requisition is used to collect material from the store and for registering that the collected material has left the store.
  • A shop traveler card identifies the material on a manufacturing order and contains information about which workshop the material should be transported to. The shop traveler card follows the physical order through the workshop.
  • Design documents are used for configured products. In a design document you find information about the end product, for example, color, size and extra equipment.

The documents are marked as Printed on the manufacturing order.
