Create View for Work Center Schedule

This document explains how you create a new view for 'Work Center Schedule. Open' (PMS230).

Outcome

You have created a view that corresponds to the work center's prerequisites. You have also specified selection criteria for the manufacturing order (MO) that will be displayed on (PMS230/B). The view is saved and can be selected.

Follow These Steps

  1. Start (PMS230) to create and name a view.

  2. In the 'View' field, press F4 twice to start 'View - W/C Schedule. Open' (PMS231/B).

  3. Specify a name for the new view.

  4. Select 'New'. You should now be in the first detail panel (the E panel).

  5. In the Field column, press F4 to retrieve the names of the files and start. 'Field Group. Display Permitted Fields' (CRS109)

  6. Select whether to use the standard panel or a new panel. If you want to use:

    • The standard panel, select 'Standard' (F14)
    • A new panel, press F4 then select the fields that you want to include in the panel.

      You can search for groups of fields.

      More than one priority value can be selected. They are calculated and not retrieved from a file. Priority values start with '&'.

      Use the 'Selection' and 'Properties' functions to limit the list to the possible fields.

  7. When you have selected the fields that will be displayed on the panel, press Enter to open a selection panel (the G panel). On the selection panel you define which MO and operations the view will apply to.

  8. For the selection criteria, specify the range that the product number must lie within for current operations to be displayed in the view.

  9. Specify the group technological classes for the MO that should be displayed in the view.

  10. Specify the range that the priority for the MO must lie within for the operation to be displayed in the view.

  11. Specify the range that the status for the MO must lie within for the operations to be displayed in the view.

  12. Specify the range that the priority for the operations must lie within for the operation to be displayed in the view.

  13. Specify the range that the finish date for the operations must lie within for the MO to be displayed in the view.

  14. Specify the range that the schedule number for the MO must lie within for the operations to be displayed in the view.

  15. Specify the range that the co-sorting key for operations must lie within for the operations to be displayed in the view.

  16. Specify the range that the tool number for operations must lie within for the operations to be displayed in the view.

  17. Specify the range that the labor skill for operations must lie within for the operations to be displayed in the view.

  18. Specify the range that the sequencing code for operations must lie within for the operations to be displayed in the view.

  19. Specify in the 'From work center' field the work center that is used together with the corresponding 'To work center' field to define queue times.

  20. Specify in the 'To work center' field the work center that is used together with the corresponding 'From work center' field to define queue times.

  21. Press Enter to finish.
