This is used in the standard numbering system levels to define the final valid range of codes when defining a position or equipment code.

Remember to include coding breaks such as dashes and slashes.

Description

With a code such as A1-07-03, which can begin at A1-01-01 and continue to C3-20-99, the ranges would be:

  2. 3

  3. -20

  4. -99.
