Setup Time

Description

Setup time is used on services, planned work orders, and work orders. You must ensure that time is not duplicated. Setup time is included both in this field and in the run time field.

This field is included in estimates, loads, and lead times.

A default setup time can be proposed from the work center, although it is uncommon in Maintenance.

Setup time should be specified in the same unit as the work center, which for Maintenance will be either hours (down to two decimal places) or minutes (down to two decimal places). Therefore, using hours and partial hours, a task requiring 90 minutes should be specified as 1.5 and NOT 1.3 (hours and minutes).
