Capacity Calendar
A capacity calendar contains information on available daily capacity for a work center. Capacity is calculated from information regarding capacity in the work center file in combination with the capacity percentage (working time as a proportion of the day, 0 - 100 %) as stated in the system calendar. Daily capacity can also be maintained manually.
Description
The capacity calendar is used to calculate throughput time. This provides the start time and completion time for a manufacturing order.
Available capacity as set in the capacity calendar is displayed in the capacity requirements plan. Capacity calendars are also used in material requirements planning when scheduling planned orders.
