Define Workday Breaks for Time and Attendance
This document explains how you define the codes and details of the breaks that can occur during a workday.
Employees for whom breaks are defined do not need to clock out when taking these breaks. Instead, the break time is automatically deducted.
Outcome
- One or more break codes and their times, type and name are defined and can be reviewed in 'Break. Open' (CRS507) and 'Break. Open Details' (CRS506) respectively.
-
One break code (defined in 'Break. Open' (CRS507)) can contain several detail definitions. This means that if you specify one break code for a work hour definition, several breaks may be included.
The file for break codes (PAPBRK) is updated.
Breaks are specified for work hour definitions in 'Work Hour Definition. Open' (CRS505).

… the time from which the break starts/to which the break lasts. The From and To times are written according to the following: 1300 (four digits, in this case, representing 1 p.m.) If nothing is entered in this field, the break is considered to start at 12 a.m. |
(CRS506/E) | Lunch break |
