Downtime Cost
This field is used to estimate the likely cost of downtime if the position or equipment is out of commission. This may include the cost of lost production, increased overtime cost to complete the production run, increased overheads for heating, lighting and so on.
Description
The downtime cost is used when a work order is closed and a downtime value specified. The downtime cost would normally be specified per hour although any unit can be used as long as it is consistent with the unit used during work order feedback.
The downtime cost will automatically default from upper levels down to lower levels in the equipment structure.
