Reset a Stopped Work Order

This instruction explains how you unlock a work order that has become stuck in status X2, where X is the main status indicator.

Use this instruction for status 1X, 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X and 6X.

Outcome

The work order is returned to status X0.

Uses

The work order is reset and it is possible to continue work on it.

How the System Is Affected

The work order status is stored in the (MMOHED) file.

Before you start

  • The work order must exist with a status of X2.
  • No work order may exist in the work file (MMO010).

Follow These Steps

  1. Start 'Work Order. Open' (MOS100/B).

  2. Highlight the work order an select option 37=Unlock to make the work order go back to status X0.
