Define Maintenance Agreement Line with a Fixed Price Total
This document explains how you define and agreement line with information about a service covered by the agreement. The pricing method used here is a fixed price total.
You add an agreement line when you want to add a service to a maintenance agreement.
Outcome
A new maintenance agreement line with a service for which the customer pays a fixed price is added to the customer's maintenance agreement.
The table with information about agreement lines, ACUAGL, is updated.
You use an agreement line with a fixed price total for jobs that you know how long they take to perform and what material is used. This allows you to give the customer a fixed price for the service.
Before you start
An agreement head must be defined in 'Maint Agrmnt. Open' (COS410).
Follow these steps
- Start 'Maint Agrmnt. Open' (COS410/B).
- On the B panel, select the appropriate agreement and select option 11= 'Agreement lines' to display 'Maint Agrmnt. Open Lines' (COS411).
- On the B panel, set panel sequence EF.
- On the B panel, specify service price method and the date from which the agreement should be valid.
- Specify the product, product structure and service that the agreement should be valid for. Select 'New record' to display the E panel.
- On the E panel, specify the price to be charged for the service and, if applicable, the warranty limits. Press Enter.
- On the F panel, specify whether the material to be used in the service should be limited to material owned by the customer and whether only expendables owned by the customer may be used.
- If applicable, specify project elements. The project elements are added to order lines by default when an order is based on the agreement line.
- Press Enter to finish.
