Add Documents to Service Revision Operations
This document explains how you add documents, such as drawings, instructions and other useful documentation, to an operation that is connected to a service revision.
Outcome
One or more documents are connected to an operation.
The documents will be copied to the product structure when the service revision is transferred to the production environment.
Information about skills is stored in the Operation routing description (APDOPS) table.
Before you start
- An operation must be linked to the service revision in 'Service Revision. Connect Operations and Materials' (ECS312).
- A document must be defined in 'Document. Open' (CRS230).
Follow These Steps

Start 'Service Revision. Open' (ECS300/B).

Highlight the service revision to which you want to connect a document and select option 12='Product structure' to display 'Service Revision. Connect Operations and Materials' (ECS312/B).

Highlight the operation to which you want to connect a document and select option 13='Operation elements' to display 'Service Revision. Connect Op Element' (ECS313/B).

Enter an element number, element type 4 for documents and the document identity. Select New to display the E panel.

Enter optional text on the E panel and press Enter to save.
