Equipment Class (Product Group)

Equipment class or product group, (CRS035) is a user-definable classification system, used to collate similar equipment into groups but can also be used for cost analysis. This system for example could be used to classify pumps, motors, vessels, and so on or in the case of cost analysis, how much has been spent on pumps in the past year or month. These statistics can then be expanded to the costs of individual pumps.
