Change Operation Sequence Number

This procedure should be used to change the sequence of operations in a work order. This is carried out by changing the sequence number itself.

The result will be a new sequence number for an operation.

Before you start

Before the procedure can begin, the following prerequisite must be met:

  • The operations must already exist in MOS101.

Follow these steps

The procedure can be initiated one of two ways.

  • Select 'Work Order. Open' (MOS100). Highlight the work order that contains the operation to be deleted. Select option 'Materials and Operation' to display (MOS101).
  • Select 'Work Schedule. Open Toolbox' (MOS195). Highlight the operation and select option 'Materials and Operations' to display (MOS101).

  1. Highlight the operation to be changed and select option 'Change operation number'. Press Enter to confirm.

  2. A new operation number must be entered. This number must not exist already. Press Enter to confirm.

  3. Specify F3 to exit, (MOS010) will be displayed to allow rescheduling to take place.

  4. Enter either a start date or finish date (not both). Press Enter. This will reschedule any other operations associated with the work order.
