Define Maintenance Agreement Line with a Loan Charge

This document explains how you define a maintenance agreement line with service information for an agreement intended for short-term loans of items in your warehouse.

Use this instruction when you want to add an agreement line with a service to a maintenance agreement.

Outcome

A new maintenance agreement line is created and connected to a maintenance agreement. This makes it possible to loan out items to customers.

The file with information about agreement lines (ACUAGL) is updated.

An agreement for short-term loans is used when a customer needs to borrow for example an engine while his own one is maintained to avoid a shutdown.

Before you start

A maintenance agreement head must be defined in 'Maint Agrmnt. Open' (COS410).

Follow These Steps

  1. Start 'Maint Agrmnt. Open' (COS410/B).

  2. On the B-panel, select the agreement for which you want to define an agreement line and select option 11 = 'Agreement lines' to display 'Maint Agrmnt. Open Lines' (COS411).

  3. Set panel sequence EF.

  4. On panel (COS411/B), specify service price method 6 and the date from which the agreement should be valid.

  5. Specify the product, product structure and service for which the agreement line should be valid if you do not wish to define a blank agreement line. Select 'New record to display the E-panel.

  6. On the E-panel, specify the warranty limits (optional). Press Enter to display the F-panel.

  7. On the F-panel, specify whether the material used should be limited to customer owned material. Press Enter to finish.
