Create a Workscope

Before You Start

• The planned order must already exist in 'Work Request. Open' (MOS170).
• Workscopes must be defined in CRS165, numbering system 39 series 1.

Follow These Steps

Follow the steps below to create a workscope. You can create a workscope from any of the different sorting orders. To view the planned work orders in workscope order, use sorting order 13.

It may be also useful to run a query to identify the planned work orders that should be included in the same workscope.

1. Select program 'Work Request. Open' (MOS170) and set the desired sorting order 1, 2, 11, or 12.

2. Highlight the orders for which to create a workscope and select option 99='Crt Workscope'.

3. To check if the planned work orders have been combined into the same workscope, change to sorting order 13. The work order proposals should now be assigned the same reference order number with reference order category 0 (maintenance).

Outcome

A workscope is created and ready for release after using this procedure.
