Generate Recurring Work Order Requests Automatically

This procedure should be used to automatically create recurring work order requests from service definitions. These recurring work order requests would be, for example, preventative maintenance jobs.

The result will be work order requests generated from service definitions.

Before you start

Before the procedure can begin, the following prerequisites must be met:

  • The user must have access to Regenerate Master Schedule
  • Parameters 34–39 in 'Settings - Maintenance 2' in (CRS789) should be set.

Follow these steps

Follow the steps below to automatically generate work order requests from services using (MOS999).

Note: It is common to run this program automatically each day or week, although it can be run as described below.
  1. Start (MOS999).

  2. Enter the range of facilities that the generation should cover in the 'Facility From/To' fields.

  3. Enter the range of equipment numbers if required (blank means all) in the 'Equipment No. From/To' fields.

  4. Enter the range of serial numbers if required (blank means all) in the 'Serial No. From/To' fields.

  7. Enter the planning horizon if required. If left blank, the default from the equipment will be used.

  8. Enter Regeneration Method 1, 2, 3 or 4.
