Restart an Operation by Stopping an Interruption
This instruction explains how to restart a work order operation by stopping the interruption that stopped the operation. Such interruptions are usually caused by material or time shortages.
Use this instruction when you want to restart work on a stopped operation.
Outcome
The operation is started and time spent on the operation is recorded. The employee can continue to work on the maintenance object.
Time spent on the operation is logged in the (MMOPTR) file.
Before you start
- The starting conditions listed in Starting Work Order Operations must be met.
- The work order operation must exist in 'Work Order. Open Line' (MOS101).
- The operation must have an interruption started in 'WO Operation. Report Interruption Start' (MOS822). Authorization to approve transaction as well as changes to reported transactions can also be set.
- All users must be registered in 'User. Connect Authority' (CRS545).
- Work hours must be defined in 'Work Hour Definition. Open' (CRS505). An error message regarding reporting number will be displayed if the work hours do not exist or are not valid.
- Run-disturbances must be defined in 'Disturbance Type. Open' (PDS044).
- A general work schedule should exist in 'Work Schedule. Open' (CRS515). The work schedule defines which work hour definitions apply, day by day for a specific period (i.e., a year). The work schedule is used as a template when creating a calendar for each person that reports operation time.
- 'Settings - WO Operation Reporting' (MOS991) or 'Settings - Operation Reporting/Facility' (MOS990) must be set up.
Follow These Steps
-
Start 'WO Operation. Report Interruption Stop' (MOS823).
The program can be started either from a menu, or from 'Work Schedule. Open Toolbox' (MOS195) using option 'Stop Interruption'.
-
On the E panel, enter the card number and a disturbance code (if required).
The reporting number will be automatically generated by the system.
Disturbance codes are defined in 'Disturbance Type. Open' (PDS044).
The clock date indicates the date that the interruption was actually stopped.
The clock time indicates the time that the interruption was actually stopped.
