Specify Whether Deviations in a Model Edition are Additions or Reductions

This document explains how you define a difference in a model edition. The difference can be either an addition or a reduction compared to the baseline of the model.

Use this instruction when both the model editions and the installation positions for a model are defined.

Outcome

Each of the deviations from the base model in a model edition is defined as either an addition or a reduction.

The deviating positions are displayed in 'Model/Site Edition. Open List' (MOS435).

Information about additions and reductions is stored in the file (MCFMSL).

Before you start

  • A model must be defined in 'Model. Open' (MOS400).
  • A model edition must be defined in Model/Site. Connect Edition' (MOS430).
  • Installation positions must be defined for a model in 'Model/Site. Connect Position' (MOS440).

Follow These Steps

  1. Start 'Model/Site Edition. Open List' (MOS435/B).

  2. Select a predefined model and model edition.

  3. Select the deviating component. Select 'New record' to display the E-panel.

  4. Specify if the entry is an addition or a reduction to the baseline. Press Enter.

The field should be left blank for baseline entries.

  5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 for all deviating positions.
