Connect Editions and Levels to Describe Possible Configuration Combinations
This document explains how you define possible combinations of a model's levels and editions.
Use this instruction when you wish to define which combinations are possible for a configuration.
Outcome
A list with all possible model edition/model level combinations is defined.
The list is checked when a model individual is created in 'Model/Site Individual. Open' (MOS250).
Information about model edition/model level combinations is stored in the file (MCFMOA).
Before you start
- A model must be defined in 'Model/Site. Open' (MOS400).
- A model level must be defined in 'Model/Site. Connect Model Level' (MOS420).
- A model edition must be defined in 'Model/Site. Connect Edition' (MOS430).
Follow These Steps
-
Start 'Model/Site. Connect Edition Level' (MOS410/B).
-
Select sorting order.
The valid alternatives are: 1-'Model/site', 2-'Model edition'.
-
Select the model or site for which you will define a possible model edition/model level combination.
-
Select the model edition and model level that can exist as a combination. Select 'New record'.
Panel (MOS410/E) is displayed.
-
Enter a description of the combination and a name, when applicable. Press Enter.
-
Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all possible combinations are defined.
