Operation Plan (MOS380)

The operation plan provides a forecast of equipment usage and is used when calculating when work order requests for scheduled services will be due. This forecast is only used for non-calendar based schedules, therefore if you only used calendar based scheduling such as weeks and months you do not need to define an operation plan. Operation plans are almost always created at the planning position level.

A related component, (MOS370) also exists. (MOS370) can be used to automatically create operation plans based on the forecast from manufacturing proposals contained within (PMS170).
